This September 2007 will be Connie’s 6 th year at Kensington Preschool

Connie has an educational background in the field of Early Childhood Development and Administration.  She has directed and taught for schools in El Cajon and San Diego for over 26 years, serving in management and administration positions for approximately 11 years.   Prior to the early childhood career, she earned a WSI (Certified Water Safety Instructor) from the YMCA and taught swimming to 3 rd and 4 th grade students for several years.

Connie is a long standing active member of the nation’s largest organization of early childhood educators.   NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) and CRECEF (Church-Related Early Childhood Education Fellowship) a local church-related director’s support group.

On a more personal level, Connie was born in Missouri and raised in the Point Loma area of San Diego.  She is an active member of her church, where she teaches Children’s Worship to preschool children on Sunday mornings.  She has a grown daughter and son-in law.  She and her husband Mike reside in Fletcher Hills of El Cajon.  Connie is most proud of the continued success and growth of Kensington preschool.
